Touring the Grand

In September 2005, Haldimand Grand River Rowing Club hosted its first National tour named “Gourmet on the Grand”. Rowers from across Ontario were astounded at the beauty and breadth of the Grand River as they observed Osprey nests and other wildlife. In its inaugural run the tour was coined “second best” in Canada

In September 2008 HGRRC will host our fourth annual “Gourmet on the Grand” rowing tour. Participants will row 11 km to Grand River RV Resort where a gourmet chef prepared lunch will be served and rowers will then return to HGRRC (another 11 km back) for a post tour social. For more information on the tour contact the club.
