Welcome to the Haldimand Grand River Rowing Club

Haldimand Grand River Rowing Club (HGRRC) welcomes you to their web site. In 2004 the inception of a rowing club was initiated and promoted, generating overwhelming interest within local communities. Being located in Haldimand County we are blessed with one of the best watercourses, the Heritage Grand River that is ideal for rowing activities and events. Our club offers local community members the opportunity to enjoy rowing and utilize the river through; Learn to Row, Recreational Rowing and Touring Programs.

HGRRC is open to anyone who is interested in rowing. Club membership varies from rowers of all ages, abilities and fitness levels. Our focus is on recreational rowing, promoting rowing in a fun, social atmosphere. For those interested in rowing but not the training schedule of competitive rowing, we are the club for you!

The club is in the process of conducting a feasibility study and formulating a business plan thanks to the generous support of a Ontario Trillium Foundation Grant. The goal of this study is to establish a permanent site to call home along the Grand River.
